How cancellations, deposits, and refunds are handled for custom digital projects.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Cortex Enterprise Hub LLC handles project cancellations, refund eligibility, and related payment adjustments. By purchasing our services, you agree to this policy. Read it together with our Terms and Conditions.
Our work is custom and project-based. Refunds are assessed according to the stage of work completed, costs already incurred, and the terms in your quote, invoice, or service agreement. We handle cancellation requests in writing and in a transparent way.
You may cancel at any time by written notice to info@cortexenterprisehub.com.
If you cancel before production has started and before we have incurred third-party or setup costs, amounts paid for work not yet performed may be eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable fees clearly stated in your proposal.
If you cancel after work has begun, any refund is prorated based on services rendered, time invested, and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date. Amounts that correspond to completed work are not refundable.
Project deposits are generally not refundable once work has started, because they reserve the project slot and cover initial planning and production. An exception may be considered only when little or no work has been performed.
Monthly or other recurring services may be cancelled by email according to the notice period in the service agreement. Cancellation stops future billing after the effective date. Fees for the current service period remain governed by that agreement.
Refunds are reviewed case by case. In general:
A full refund is typically not available after substantial progress has been made.
If a refund is approved, it reflects unused fees after deducting the value of work completed and documented expenses.
Fees for finished milestones, approved deliverables, or released final files are not refundable merely because you later change direction or no longer need the work. This does not limit rights you may have if services were not provided as agreed or if a refund is required by law.
Non-recoverable costs paid to third parties on your behalf (licensed assets, tools, or vendor fees) are not refundable.
Send a written request that includes:
We will review the request against the work completed and this policy, then reply with the determination.
Complete written requests are typically reviewed within 7–14 business days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.
After approval, the refund may take additional time to appear depending on the payment processor or bank.
Cortex Enterprise Hub LLC may end a project or service agreement if you violate the Terms, including failure to pay on time, misrepresentation of materials, or misuse of delivered work. Fees for services already performed remain due, and refunds do not apply to completed work.
If a specific proposal, statement of work, or written agreement sets different cancellation or refund terms, those project-specific terms control for that engagement. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current policy. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
